5c40e7c41e Add thread-safety notice here. The solution is using gethostbyname_r, 
but it seems that it takes different parameters on Solaris and
Linux. ;-P We should probably make a wrapper function, and make a
configure test that checks if there is a reentrant version available,
and if not protect gethostbyname and similar calls with a mutex until
the results have been copied.  Ugly.

Log Message:
Stop core dump using crypt() with standard DES. When PHP3_MAX_SALT_LEN = 2
adding the null terminator to the salt exceeds allocated space causing
stack corruption.

fd87bb3321 Modified array_walk() function so that the userland callback is passed 
a key and possible user data in addition to the value.  It's still backward
compatible with one argument version.

37d7d08482 - Improved register_shutdown_function() - you may now supply arguments that

1b2c932cc2 More symbol work. 
I've defined a few macros to help with module/request init/startup function definitions.
Basically:

PHP_MINIT_FUNCTION(module)
PHP_MSHUTDOWN_FUNCTION(module)
PHP_RINIT_FUNCTION(module)
PHP_RSHUTDOWN_FUNCTION(module)
PHP_MINFO_FUNCTION(module)

These will expand to proper function prototypes.

Now to specify these in the module entry, use:

PHP_MINIT(module)
PHP_MSHUTDOWN(module)
PHP_RINIT(module)
PHP_RSHUTDOWN(module)
PHP_MINFO(module)

I've updated all modules in ext/standard and everything from ext/apache to ext/db.
If you can, please update your module to use these macros.

8f51f72dc6 - Fix the new operator incompatibility. 
- I commented PHP_FUNCTION(strtotime) in datetime.c because it stopped
  win32 from compiling. This needs to be fixed!!!
- Check out libzend to compile the tree now.

72f675be50 exec() can now properly handle lines longer than (EXEC_INPUT_BUF-2) bytes. 
Lines being returned via the array that that contain only "\n" now are
trimmed down to "" to be consistent with exec's whitespace trimming
behavior for all other lines.
